II CONSTITUTION 2.1 The organization shall be named The Fiji Human Resources Institute 2.2 The aims of the institute are to promote and encourage the      development and diffusion of knowledge about the human resources      proctices in all sectors of the economy. To this end:- To provide continuing professional development in the field of human resources. To provide an effective information and communication network in the field of human resources. To promote research in human resources. To influence government and other bodies on human resources issues. To promote awareness of the need for effective human resources practices. To promote the application of sound theories of human behaviour and learning for the development of effective organizations.
